Over the last 2 weeks the children have been creating some wonderful easter chicks, robins, ducks and even a rooster out of paper mache with Lucia. Last week we got messy with rice glue making the bodies, and this week they were dry and ready for painting! After lunch in the New Zealand garden we had a walk around the garden, a visit to the playpark (of course!) and discovered lots of interesting insects in the hot house. In the afternoon we crafted spring flowers and smashed some geodes open to reveal the beautiful crystals inside. It was a lot harder process than we first thought! We finished the day with a bit of relaxation time on the mats to a meditation story with Trish.
