We were thrilled to be joined by dinosaur expert and artist Trudie Wilson last Thursday. She wowed the kids with her fossil collection and gave us some really inspirational advice on where, why and how to find them locally. Using florist wire, and of course safety googles, the children created their own dinosaurs and fossil sculptures following Trudie's example. After lunch we headed down to Steephill Cove to look for our own fossils in the rocks, and pressed them into clay to make imprints. We managed to find quite a few!
