Potting and Painting!

We had lots of indoor activities today, so the rain didn't put a damper on our day! In the morning we were in the potting shed with Trish the gardener, planting seeds. Then, after lunch and some free play, it was painting with resident VBG artist Mark Cosby. Each child chose a piece of fruit to study, looking at form, colour and texture before mixing up some colour to express it in paint. We had a large canvas for a bit of communal painting, we even painted the fruit and printed with it! Some very artistic works, which will hang in the studio there this week.
